Football: Pickerington's Hamilton commits to Ohio State

Hamilton is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and Rivals.com, the predominant recruiting services, and held scholarship offers from Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State, among other schools. He is the younger brother of Davon Hamilton, who will be a senior defensive tackle for the Buckeyes next season and is a projected starter. In a tweet, Ty Hamilton wrote that he was “100% committed.” He took an official visit to Ohio State over the weekend, when he finalized his commitment to the program.
