Omaha Westside’s Avante Dickerson continues to add to his national list of scholarship offers. The 5-foot-11, 170-pound defensive back, kick returner and running back added one from Ohio State on Tuesday. That comes on the heels of Power Five offers he received in the spring from Nebraska (March 29), LSU (April 23) and Iowa (April 29). “I’m excited to get an offer from Ohio State,” Dickerson said. “They produce a lot of NFL players at defensive back, and for them to think I can play there is a blessing.” Ohio State can tout its success in producing draft picks. The Buckeyes have had five defensive backs selected in the first round of the NFL draft since 2016.
