COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ian Stewart of Oscar A. Carlson (Mich.) High School has announced that the Buckeyes are among his final schools for consideration. The three-star recruit’s list includes the Buckeyes, Louisville, Purdue, Penn State, West Virginia, Kansas State and Michigan State. He’s already made two visits to Columbus of the past few weeks, including Ohio State’s Student Appreciation Day on March 23. Though he’s listed as a wide receiver, he could potentially make a switch to safety should he commit to Ohio State. At 6-foot-3, 200 pounds he could be a potential candidate for the Buckeyes’ new bullet position. He’s taken snaps at quarterback, running back, receiver and on defense and special teams during his high school career.
