On Tuesday the initial 247Sports player rankings for the class of 2021 came out and it was highlighted by Ohio State defensive end commitment Jack Sawyer who leads a strong Ohio class of 2021. Sawyer is the country’s No. 2 overall prospect. But Sawyer was far from the only Ohioan in the Top247. The Ohio class of 2021 is a good one and there are nine Ohioans total in the top 193 prospects of the Top247, five of which the Buckeyes have already offered a scholarship. In addition to Sawyer, Richfield Revere offensive tackle Ben Christman checks in as the country’s No. 22 overall prospect. Pickerington Central wide receiver Lorenzo Styles checks in at No. 110.
