Ohio State's returning receivers looking for consistency

The wide receivers Ohio State lost after the 2018 season are not insignificant pieces. Parris Campbell was one of the most productive pass catchers for the Buckeyes in recent memory and he, along with classmates Johnnie Dixon and Terry McLaurin, accounted for over 50% of the receiving yards and over 64% of the receiving touchdowns last year. Those wideouts are not coming back to Ohio Stadium as eligible players. That’s why it wasn’t easy for receivers coach Brian Hartline to get over seeing his three fifth-year seniors walk out of the door following the win in the Rose Bowl. “It’s definitely different,” Hartline said of not having the three amigos in his room. “That’s why when they left, I cried, literally.” Hartline does have another trio of experienced receivers in K.J.
