Ohio State makes the top 5 for 2020 offensive lineman

A 2020 offensive guard announced his final list of five schools—and Ohio State has made the cut. Geirean Hatchett is a four-star lineman from Ferndale, Wash., and a big target for Ryan Day and his staff. Hatchett narrowed his list down to Ohio State, Oklahoma, Washington, Notre Dame and Stanford on Wednesday. With the Buckeyes making Hatchett’s list of five, the chances that Day and the rest of the staff get another West Coast player increases. We have seen westward recruits become a priority for Day, and Hatchett is just another example of this. Hatchett attends Ferndale High School and has one year of high school eligibility left for him to improve upon and fine-tune his skills before college. The four-star is currently ranked by 247sports as the 188th overall prospect in the 2020 class as well as the 10th offensive guard and the fifth best player in the state…
