On Wednesday, Ohio State held the athletic departments 52nd annual Scholar-Athlete dinner in the Archie Griffin Ballroom at the Ohio Union. The event honored the university’s student-athletes for their academic achievements. In total, 674 Ohio State Scholar-Athletes were recognized, including 47 from the football program and eight from the men’s basketball team. Headlining the football Buckeyes who were named Scholar-Athletes is senior safety, Jordan Fuller. An honorable mention All-Big Ten honoree, Fuller could have left the Scarlet and Gray following his junior year for the NFL Draft but elected to return to Ohio State for one final season as he continued his work on his marketing degree. This is the third Scholar-Athlete award for Fuller, to go along with his other academic accomplishments, including being named a Big Ten Conference Distinguished Scholar, Academic All-Big Ten twice and second-team Academic All-American in 2017.
