Seventeen days. That’s how close a couple hundred former college football stars are to hearing their name called in the 2019 NFL Draft. Among those are near a dozen former Ohio State players who hope to be selected by one of the NFL’s 32 teams. If The Athletic’s Dane Brugler’s Mock Draft 5.0 is correct, the majority of them will be. In Brugler’s most recent mock draft, which debuted on Monday and features seven full rounds of selections, there are nine Buckeyes coming off the board with various picks, and three in the first round. The first, and most obvious, is defensive end Nick Bosa at No. 2 overall going to the San Fransisco 49ers.
