Ohio State baseball entered the season looking to make it to the NCAA Tournament for the second year in a row, having earned NCAA Regional appearances in two of the last three seasons. Before opening up Big Ten play against Rutgers last weekend, the team sat at 14-11, finishing their first home-stand of the season with a 7-2 record. Overall, it was a solid start to the 2019 campaign for an OSU team comprised of 15 letter-winners from a year ago and 16 newcomers.
