If you are a fan of college sports, or sports in general, you are familiar with the rivalry between Ohio State and Michigan in college football. For many who have been around or a part of it, the game between the two teams that sit 186 miles apart is the best rivalry in sports. One man who is rather familiar with “The Game,” as the annual meeting between the Buckeyes and the Wolverines has come to be known, is Greg Mattison. The 69-year-old Wisconsin native has been coaching football at the college or professional level for 43 years, 13 of those — in two separate stints — were spent at Michigan.
