Lejond Cavazos sets announcement date, time Ohio State fans now know when former commit Lejond Cavazos, a four-star defensive back from Florida, will decide if he’s rejoining the class or heading elsewhere. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound prospect will announce on April 12 at 6 p.m. between Florida, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Ohio State and Oregon. 247Sports.com’s composite rankings have Cavazos as the No. 22 safety and the No. 288 prospect in the country. His announcement will take place the day before the Ohio State spring game. Cavazos decommitted from OSU’s 2020 class on Dec. 4, shortly after Urban Meyer announced his retirement.
