Softball: Ohio State wins two of three against Maryland

Credit: Gretchen Rudolph | For The Lantern The Ohio State softball team came away with two wins and one loss on the road against Maryland. The Buckeyes are now 19-10 on the year and 4-1 in Big Ten. Game One The Buckeyes suffered their first Big Ten loss of the season in a 3-2 defeat to the Terrapins in the first game of the three-game series. Senior left fielder Bri Betschel put Ohio State on board first, scoring off an RBI sacrifice fly by senior catcher Emily Clark. Maryland tied the score at 1-1 on a sacrifice bunt.
