Ohio State will dance with Iowa State in first round of NCAA Tournament: Crowquill

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Tonight in Tulsa, the No. 11 seeded Ohio State Buckeyes (19-14) open the 2019 NCAA Tournament against the No. 6 seeded Iowa State Cyclones (23-11). The Cyclones come in to the game with lots of momentum after winning the Big 12 Tournament. The Cyclones lost their last three regular season games, but finished strong by beating Baylor, Kansas State and Kansas in the Big 12 Tournament. The Buckeyes finished 8-12 in the rugged Big Ten after losing their last three games which coincided with the suspension of sophomore center Kaleb Wesson. OSU won the last meeting between these two schools, 78-75 in the 2013 NCAA Tournament. Wesson is back, but I have a feeling the outcome will be different this time.
