After getting a chance to meet Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins for dinner on Tuesday, Giants head coach Pat Shurmur came away impressed by Haskins’ throwing session Wednesday during the Buckeyes’ Pro Day. “It was excellent,’’ Shurmur said, via the New York Post. “We obviously have spent a lot of time evaluating him, and this is one piece of it. We got the chance to work with him on the board and take him to dinner, and he certainly is an accomplished and impressive young man.’’ The Giants have shown steady interest in Haskins, along with Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray, ahead of next month’s NFL Draft where they own the No. 6 and No. 17 overall selections.
