Ohio State opens as big early favorites over Cincinnati

The Ohio State football season doesn’t begin for another six months. Before the Aug. 31 season opener against Florida Atlantic, the Buckeyes need to finish winter workouts, go through spring practice, play the spring game on April 13 and then take part in various workouts all summer. Despite that, early odds for the non-conference portion of the 2019 college football schedule have begun to come out. On Tuesday, along with a number of other early season games, the odds for Ohio State’s Sept. 7 game against Cincinnati were released. According to Collin Wilson, a college football predictive analyst for the Action Network, the Buckeyes are an early 18-point favorites.
