Team Scarlet and Gray will officially no longer be participating in this year’s edition of The Basketball Tournament. Have no fear though, as the team primarily made up of Ohio State alumni will still be hosting the Columbus regional at Capital University this July, but they are going to have to do it under a different name. According to the team’s head coach and general manager Scoonie Penn, Ohio State is not allowing them to continue to use the name, despite the fact that they have played under the Scarlet and Gray banner for the last two summers.
