In need of a win to snap the longest losing streak in 21 years, the Buckeyes took a sold-out crowd at Pinnacle Bank Arena out of commission early, pulled away with a dominant second-half run and won for the first time since Dec. 29 against High Point with a 70-60 victory against Nebraska (13-7, 3-6). Gone is a five-game losing streak, the longest since the Buckeyes lost 17 straight during the 1997-98 season. A 20-5 run encompassing nearly eight minutes during the middle of the second half saw to that, giving Ohio State a 56-43 lead with 7:56 left and sending some of the Nebraska faithful from their seats and into the cold outside. >> Read full story…
