Rutgers’ defense will try to learn everything it can about Dwayne Haskins this week. Mohamed Jabbie may be able to help his teammates on the other side of the ball. Haskins, Ohio State’s starting quarterback, grew up in South Brunswick, where he played youth football with Jabbie, one of the Scarlet Knights’ wide receivers, and was mentored by Jabbie’s uncle, Rutgers great Mohamed Sanu. Haskins and Jabbie will be on opposite sides Saturday when Rutgers plays at the No. 4-ranked Buckeyes, and the experience is “truly a blessing,” Jabbie said. “He was my Pop Warner quarterback and he was my best friend,” Jabbie told NJ Advance Media. “We always talked about it when we were younger.
