COLUMBUS, Ohio — For the third time in as many years, Ohio State could be starting a converted guard at center. During Saturday’s open practice, Michael Jordan was working out as the first-team center. He had been the starter at left guard for the last two seasons. If indeed he starts there, he will follow Pat Elflein in 2016 and Billy Price in 2017 as guards who moved over to center. Acting head coach Ryan Day wrote in his note on Friday that Jordan is battling with fifth-year senior Brady Taylor for the starting center job.
