Ohio State football | Buckeyes adding quarterback from West Virginia

Ohio State officials would not confirm anything about Chugunov, who is not yet on the roster. He is transferring from West Virginia with two seasons of eligibility remaining and is eligible to play immediately since he graduated in three years from WVU. He is a business major. The Buckeyes went into preseason camp with three scholarship quarterbacks, led by third-year sophomore Dwayne Haskins Jr., redshirt freshman Tate Martell and freshman Matthew Baldwin. Junior Joe Burrow transferred to LSU after graduating from Ohio State in the spring. Chugunov, 6 feet 1 and 203 pounds, could add needed depth.
