Ex-wife of former Ohio State assistant meets with investigators, attorney issues statement

The investigation has continued at Ohio State, and it’s now led to a meeting with one of the main people involved in the case. On Monday, Courtney Smith, ex-wife of former Buckeyes assistant coach Zach Smith, met with the independent investigative team hired by Ohio State’s board of trustees, as announced in a statement from her attorney, Julia Leveridge. Per Leveridge, Smith was accompanied by her lawyers and welcomed the opportunity to speak with the investigators. “Courtney continues to be thankful for the support she has received during this time,” Leveridge’s statement read.
