James Laurinaitis elected to Ohio State’s Hall of Fame James Laurinaitis is one of the newest members of the Ohio State Athletics Hall of Fame. Laurinaitis headlined a 10-person class that will be officially inducted on Sept. 7. Laurinaitis, a linebacker, played with the Buckeyes from 2005-08 and was a three-year starter. He went on to have an eight-year NFL career before retiring after the 2016 season.
