COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State will have another MAC opponent on the schedule in the future. The Buckeyes will host Toledo on Sept. 17, 2022. This will be just the fourth time the two schools have met, with the latest meeting coming in 2011. The only other opponent on Ohio State’s schedule for 2022 is Notre Dame, which is the first year of a home-and-home series between the two schools. It also extends a stretch of Ohio State playing schools from the MAC to four years. The Buckeyes will host Miami (Ohio) in 2019, Bowling Green in 2020 and Akron in 2021.
