Ohio State had seven players selected in the 2018 NFL Draft, including first-round picks Denzel Ward (No. 4 overall to the Cleveland Browns) and Billy Price (No. 21 overall to the Cincinnati Bengals). Many of the Buckeyes’ top recruiting targets in the 2019 class and beyond took notice of the annual success of Ohio State in the draft. This is the fifth consecutive draft Ohio State has had at least five players selected. There has been a Buckeye selected every year but one (1998) of the NFL’s common draft era, which began in 1967.
