Rutgers hosting another football camp with Ohio State, but this time at home

On Friday, June 1, the Rutgers staff is hosting another high school football one-day position camp, where it will be accompanied by the Ohio State staff. Prospects from throughout New Jersey and its neighboring states will be evaluated by a bevy of coaches from the Big Ten East — one of the most competitive divisions in Power 5 play. The camp will serve as the first of four legs of Rutgers’ East Coast Elite camp series, now in its third year. Unlike the Tri-State Showcase — the Rutgers-Ohio State-Temple satellite camp from 2016, which allegedly started out as a response to Michigan’s satellite camp at Paramus Catholic, drew over 1,000 participants and was held all over the Fairleigh Dickinson campus in Madison, N.J. — this camp will instead take place at Rutgers, which will get the chance to show off its new state of the art practice fields.
