Demario McCall and the other stars of Ohio State's spring game: Buckeyes analysis

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Gray beat the Scarlet 37-14 in Ohio State’s spring football game on Saturday, though quarterbacks Dwayne Haskins, Joe Burrow and Tate Martell each played for both teams. That’s how spring games go. After a slow start, the offense won the day, as the rain held off until just after the completion of the 97-minute game that included 10-minute quarters and a running clock in the second half. Demario McCall wound up with 11 catches for 165 yards playing for both teams, scoring two touchdowns for the Gray. Ben Victor had five catches for 91 yards and a score, Mike Weber ran for 63 yards on his only carry, freshman running back Master Teague gained 74 yards on 14 carries and Chase Young guessed that if the game had included full tackling and the chance to hit the quarterback, he might have had six sacks.
