Ex-Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor says he ‘was actually going to join the basketball team’

Former Ohio State QB Terrelle Pryor was quite the athlete. I mean, just look at him now. He’s a starting WR in the NFL, currently playing for the New York Jets. Back during his days with the Buckeyes, he played QB. But coming out of high school, Pryor was also quite the basketball player. Back in 2010, when Pryor was playing for Ohio State’s football team, the Buckeyes went 12-1 overall and won the 2011 Sugar Bowl over Arkansas, 31-26. Prior to the bowl game, however, an NCAA investigation took place regarding certain Buckeyes football players and tattoos. That happened in December of 2010 and led to Pryor’s time at Ohio State being over. On Friday, Pryor was on 97.1 The Fan’s Carpenter & Rothman and mentioned his interest in joining the Buckeyes’ basketball team back in the 2010-11 season. And, apparently, it was more than just a casual interest.…
