COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State picked up a commitment from four-star receiver Chris Olave on Sunday. Here’s what it means for the Buckeyes and their 2018 recruiting class. * Olave is the 24th member of Ohio State’s top-ranked 2018 recruiting class. He’s the No. 54 receiver in the country, and the fourth receiver in the Buckeyes’ class. He joins four-star prospects Kamryn Babb, L’Christian Smith and Cameron Brown. * Why receiver? If you look at Ohio State’s roster, and more importantly this recruiting class, receiver doesn’t jump out as a major need. The Buckeyes had four draft-eligible receivers who all decided to come back this year, and one — former five-star prospect Trevon Grimes — who transferred to Florida.
