Tim May The Columbus Dispatch @TIM_MAYsports California receiver Chris Olave committed on Sunday night to sign a national letter of intent on Feb. 7 with Ohio State, becoming the 24th member of the Buckeyes’ 2018 recruiting class which at the moment is ranked No. 1 in the country. “Dear God. Thank you. Committed. #Zone6,” Olave wrote on his Twitter account, with an accompanying graphic including an Ohio State logo. The “Zone6” is a reference to Ohio State’s receiving corps. At 6 feet 1, 170 pounds, recruiting analysts say the speedy Olave, from Mission Hills High School in San Marcos, Calif., has the ability to take the top off of defenses. He has a four-star rating in the 247sports composite of the major recruiting services’ rankings, and is considered the 54th-best receiver prospect in the nation.
