The Alabama Crimson Tide snuck into the College Football Playoff ahead of the Big Ten-champion Ohio State Buckeyes by virtue of not having an embarrassing road loss to Iowa. The Tide showed the committee made the right choice, as they dominated Clemson in the Sugar Bowl and will now face Georgia in the National Championship Game.
