COLUMBUS, Ohio — The final College Football Playoff rankings will be revealed the day after the conference title games, with ESPN broadcasting the show to reveal the four playoff teams at noon on Sunday. First, the penultimate rankings will be released on Tuesday at 7 p.m. on ESPN, and Ohio State will at least move up. No. 9 each of the last two weeks, the Buckeyes will pass previous No. 8 Notre Dame, which lost to Stanford. No. 1 Alabama and No. 2 Miami also lost last week, but both should stay ahead of the Buckeyes. The playoff committee values conference titles, and none of those have yet been won.
