COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State defensive end Sam Hubbard was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week on Monday. In Ohio State’s 31-20 win at Michigan on Saturday, Hubbard had a career-high 2.5 sacks. He also had five tackles and a forced fumble in the win. He also helped the Buckeyes hold Michigan to just 100 yards rushing in the win. Hubbard is the first Ohio State player to win the award since Raekwon McMillan in 2016. He now trails only Nick Bosa in terms of tackles for loss.
