COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State is favored by just over a touchdown against Oklahoma on Saturday. This isn’t an easy one to pick. Tim Bielik, Bill Landis and I were conflicted in our predictions. We see an Ohio State defensive line that may be the best in nation. But they’ll be facing an Oklahoma offensive line that is among the best in the country as well. And they’ll be chasing a quarterback in Baker Mayfield who is as good at scrambling away from pressure and looking for big throws as anyone in the country. Is Ohio State’s secondary good enough? Will Ohio State’s passing game do enough? This is a game that matters for the College Football Playoff, but I also think both teams are strong playoff contenders and no matter what happens Saturday, both of them could wind up in college football’s final four.
