Thy College Football Playoff hype just keeps building for Ohio State. Even though Alabama opened the USA Today/Amway Coaches Poll as the clear No. 1, ESPN’s College Football Power Index has given the Buckeyes the best chance in the country to enter bowl season undefeated at 35 percent. That 35 percent mark is more than three times better than Alabama’s 10 percent of reaching bowl season without a loss. Ohio State also leads the country with a 77 percent chance of finishing the regular season (including a possible Big Ten Championship game) with only one loss.
