Ohio State Football: JK Dobbins Is First Buckeyes Freshman To Lose Black Stripe

The Ohio State football team has finally “officially” welcomed a freshman onto its roster. On Friday, the Buckeyes took to social media to announce running back J.K. Dobbins has become the first Ohio State freshman in 2017 to lose his black stripe. It is a Buckeyes tradition that players must “earn” their way onto the team before the stripe is removed.
