Most of Penn State’s coaching staff is out on the road vacationing, but that won’t stop the recruiting scene from marching on with a priority visitor on Wednesday. The Lions are set to host Cleveland, Ohio four-star defensive end Tyreke Smith for an unofficial visit, Lions247 first reported and PennLive later confirmed. The 6-foot-3, 260-pound Class of 2018 prospect is one of the best recruits in the nation at his position and was last at Penn State in March. Smith started a social media conversation over the weekend when he camped at Ohio State’s one-day instructional event wearing a t-shirt that read “I HOPE I DON’T GET KILLED FOR BEING BLACK TODAY,” a story Eleven Warriors has more on here.
