COLUMBUS, Ohio — J.T. Barrett exited Ohio State’s spring practice confident that the revamped passing game under new offensive coordinator Kevin Wilson and quarterbacks coach Ryan Day was progressing in the right direction. The key time period, Barrett said, were these months — May, June and July — when players can get out on the field on their own, practice whatever new concepts have been installed and build a rapport between quarterback and receiver that seemed absent last season.
