COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State is back where Urban Meyer wants it, on top of the 2018 recruiting rankings. With the commitment of four-star offensive lineman Matthew Jones on Saturday, the Buckeyes passed Miami for the No. 1 spot in the 247Sports composite 2018 class rankings. Jones is the 10th four-star prospect to commit to Ohio State, and the 10th top-100 national prospect out of 14 commitments. Ohio State also has commitments from five-star prospects defensive tackle Taron Vincent, defensive end Brenton Cox and quarterback Emory Jones. The Buckeyes are one of two Big Ten programs (Penn State is No. 4) currently in the top 10 of the 247Sporst composite class rankings.
