Four-star offensive tackle Matt Jones committed to Ohio State on Saturday while on campus for a visit, according to multiple reports. Jones is the nation’s 11th-ranked offensive tackle and a product of Brooklyn (N.Y.) Erasmus Hall, the same school as former Buckeye H-back Curtis Samuel and current OSU safety Jahsen Wint. Jones, who had long been thought to be an Ohio State lean, committed while at a one-day camp in Columbus which was also attended my numerous other Buckeye targets and commits, including four-star quarterback Emory Jones. The New York native becomes the 14th member of Ohio State’s 2018 recruiting class and the second offensive tackle, joining four-star Max Wary. In the 247Sports composite rankings, Jones is a four-star defensive tackle, but will most likely end up on offense as a Buckeye. http://www.scout.com/player/199253-matt-jones
