Ohio State defensive end Rashod Berry could be playing tight end for Ohio State in the near future. Again. Berry, who is set to be a third-year sophomore in 2017, played defensive end last year for the Buckeyes but he was with the tight ends during his redshirt year in 2015. On Friday, Ohio State confirmed to BSB that backup tight end A.J. Alexander had suffered a season-ending knee injury playing basketball and head coach Urban Meyer said the void could be partially filled by Berry. “It’s tough. It was a freak injury, he was playing basketball, non football related,” Meyer said Friday during Ohio State’s annual job fair. “It was a tough knee injury.
