That’s because cornerback Joshua Norwood is transferring, an Ohio State spokesperson confirmed with cleveland.com on Tuesday morning. The Columbus Dispatch was the first to report the news. Though the Buckeyes lost cornerbacks Marshon Lattimore and Gareon Conley — both of which were selected in the first round of the NFL Draft — they signed a handful of young defensive backs in the 2017 recruiting class. Two were five-star cornerbacks in Jeffrey Okudah and Shaun Wade, both of which enrolled early and could potentially be in the rotation come the fall.
