Five Freshmen that Stood Out in Ohio State’s 2017 Spring Game More Fans hoping for a star-studded spring game featuring last year’s household names were likely to be disappointed on Saturday. The stars were in the game only briefly for a few series of two-hand-touch football. What fans did get, however, was a nice, long look at the players of the future, including many who’d never yet played a snap in a Buckeye uniform.
