COLUMBUS – When you give Urban Meyer time to prepare for a game, he’s almost always going to win. In contests where Meyer has a week to prepare – in other words, coming off a bye week – he has a record of 21-1. When it comes to bowl games, which give more time to prepare but usually feature a tougher opponent, Meyer has a similarly impressive record. The 15-year coaching veteran is 10-2 in bowl games, winning three national championships. His 83.3 winning percentage is ranked second nationally, minimum of 10 bowl games, behind disciple Kyle Whittingham.
