Nation's Fourth-Ranked Tailback in 2018, Lorenzo Lingard, Labels Ohio State as the Leader in His Recruitment

A stable of prospects representing the Sunshine State crammed into the Horseshoe this past Saturday for Ohio State’s spine-tingling victory over Jim Harbaugh and rival Michigan, with one being Lorenzo Lingard, who’s comfortable enough to label the Buckeyes as the new leader after an exceptional experience up in the Midwest. Lingard, a nationally-recognized 2018 prospect hailing out of Orange City (Fla.) University, checks in as the nation’s third-ranked running back and 35th-ranked player overall in the Scout 100. “(They’re) number one, with Auburn number two,” Lingard said when asked about the Buckeyes’ standing in his recruitment. “I really enjoyed the game environment.
