Michigan at Ohio State score: Buckeyes' comeback win in 2OT is an instant classic

Even if it doesn’t get a chance to play for the Big Ten title, No. 2 Ohio State made its best case for the College Football Playoff with a dramatic 30-27 double-overtime win against Michigan. The Buckeyes had to overcome two missed field goals (including a chip-shot attempt from 20 yards) and continue fighting through a second quarter that was totally dominated by the Wolverines. Things finally turned Ohio State’s way in the second half as coach Urban Meyer put the ball in the hands of quarterback J.T. Barrett and halfback Curtis Samuel to go win the game. Barrett was Ohio State’s leading rusher with 125 yards on 30 carries, but it was Samuel who dominated the end of the game with a hard-fought 8-yard catch-and-run followed by a 15-yard touchdown run in double overtime to score the game-winning touchdown.
