Coming off a dominating performance against Bowling Green, Ohio State looks to keep the momentum rolling when the Tulsa Golden Hurricane come to town on September 10. The Golden Hurricane will more than likely present a greater challenge to Ohio State than Bowling Green did so it will be interesting to see how the Buckeyes do this Saturday. Let’s take a look at the Buckeyes’ next opponent, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane. Tulsa is also coming off a dominating win, beating San Jose State handily at home, 45-10. They are led by veteran QB, Dane Evans, who should cause some problems for the young Buckeye defense. Alongside Evans in the backfield is talented RB D’Angelo Brewer who ran for 164 yards and 3 touchdowns last week. Another key player on their offense is WR Keevan Lucas; he has over 2000 yards receiving for his career even though he missed of last season with an injury. I can already see the Evans-Lucas connection providing trouble for OSU’s secondary. The Tulsa offense returns 8 starters from last season’s squad and should provide a much bigger test than Bowling Green; they finished 51st in S&P+ offensive rankings last year so they definitely have talent…
