College football is back! So many wild things happened last weekend, including an epic showdown in Texas and some major upsets — and this was only Week 1! This year’s opening weekend was called one of the best in college football history, and some of the odd matchups, greatest wins and biggest disappointments all made our list of huge moments. Between Friday and Monday, there were more than 57 games played, and out of the top 25 teams, 17 ranked programs hit the field. Below are six of the most undefeated moments from Week 1: 6. J.T. BARRETT’S seven-touchdown day Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback J.T. Barrett had himself a day against Bowling Green, accounting for seven touchdowns, six of which came through the air. He broke a school record in Ohio State’s 77-10 win over Bowling Green on Saturday for the most total touchdowns in a game. 5. We see you, coach Charlie Strong The unranked Texas Longhorns upset No. 10 Notre Dame on Sunday night in a double-overtime thriller that ended in a 50-47 victory. 4.
