There was plenty of action as the Ohio State Buckeyes cruised to a blowout win and the Maryland Terrapins put up huge numbers on the ground in their win. Let’s take a brief look at this weekend’s results. Indiana vs. Florida International A 34-13 win on the road sees the Indiana Hoosiers get started off on the right foot. The defense was the big story here as they produced two touchdowns and had a solid game under their new defensive coordinator. Richard Lagow threw for 240 yards and had one touchdown pass in his debut. Michigan State vs. Furman It wasn’t the most convincing performance from the Michigan State Spartans, but they got the job done with a 28-13 win. Quarterback Tyler O’Connor led the way with three touchdown passes and 190 yards off of 13 completions. L.J. Scott had 105 yards of rushing and one touchdown.
