Weber wasn’t the first to find out, though. Instead, running backs coach Tony Alford made a special call home. Usually when a coach calls a player’s parents, it’s tough to expect good news. It almost seemed as if Toni Weber and Mike Weber Sr., were nervous on the other end of the call. But then Alford broke some great news. “This is a call on something that’s great,” Alford said. Once Alford told the parents that their son was the starting running back, they let out an amazing reaction. Weber was a redshirt last season, so Saturday will be the first game of his college career. Safe to say that his family will be watching. 46m ago 2hr ago 3hr ago College Football, mike weber, ohio state, NCAAF 130 shares
