COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX/WTTE) — While excitement is building for The Ohio State Buckeyes first football game of the season against Bowling Green State University, business managers and owners are also ready to take in the big dollars. Many businesses ABC6/FOX 28 checked with are bringing in extra employees or staying open extended hours. At The Grandview Theater and Drafthouse, the theater will turn into a mini indoor stadium on Saturday, at least for a while. Theater owners say they’ll be showing the Bucks take on the Falcons on the big screen. While people can watch it for free, employees are expecting to be busy selling drinks, alcohol and food at the newly renovated location. At Conrad’s College Gifts, workers say they’ve been busy with people buying OSU merchandise even before the game. Some of the biggest sellers include small clutches and wallets in order to adhere to the new no-bag policy implemented this year at Ohio Stadium. “I made a a card and put it by the register so people know exactly what size,” said Conrad’s co-owner Judi Cohen. Cohen expects business to be so busy during game day, the store is offering a merchandise bag check for its customers.…
